Ross Pearson left no doubts at Ultimate Force

Delighted MMA fans packed the Doncaster Dome last night for yet another glorious night of Mixed Martial Arts.

The evening started with an amateur bout with Kyle Howes beating Oliver Lavell by Triangle Choke only 24 seconds in to round one. Followed swiftly by a two round fight between Ashley Grayson and James Handley, the judges had their work cut out on that one, as both young fighters put on a very spirited performance. In the end the decision went in the favor of Handley.

Scott Askham beat Daniel Edwards by a TKO in round one, but his father couldn't clock up a double for the Askham family. Chris Askham's fight against Steve Ward was stopped due to ground and pound in round one. Ward gained the mount and rained down punches to the head of Chris Askham. Askham was unable to defend himself and the referee stopped the fight.

The exited fans were then treated to no less than three title fights with Wayne Murrie beating Leslee Ojugbana by TKO in round three. Wayne walked away a very happy man with the Welterweight Title.

Denniston Sutherland then beat Kevin Thompson by TKO in round two to take the British Light-Heavyweight Title.

Ross Pearson left no doubt that he is indeed one of the hottest fighters in the UK MMA circuit by beating Ian Jones in the first round with a massive ground and pound onslaught. Pearson added Ian Jones to his wake of victories that now include Cedric Celerier and Sami Berik. Increasing his fight record up to: 9 wins and 3 losses.
