Jamie Moore Defeats Former World Title Holder Michele Piccirillo
Salford's Jamie Moore took the fight to Italian Piccirillo giving him no quarter. Unleashing devastating blow after blow on the former world champion, demonstrating that he is worthy of his new won title: European light-middleweight champion.

It was clear in round one that Moore was taking the fight to Piccirillo and by the end of round two, Piccirillo had been on the canvas twice.
In round three Moore stalked Piccirillo around the ring delivering a massive onslaught of head and body shots. Piccirillo was clearly no match for Moore who finally decked the ex world title holder in his own corner, Piccirillo was finished, left hanging through the ropes gasping and unable to recover.
The delighted Moore proving he is the name to be reckoned with in his weight division.

On the same card, the Irish Olympic bronze medalist Darren Sutherland convincingly defeated Belarusian Siarhei Navarka. Sutherland controlled the fight from the start with Navarka producing little in the way of answers to the Irishman's jabs and left hooks. The referee stopped the fight in the 3rd round.
